Can I email my business card file?

Unfortunately all files have to be submitted through our websites print request form.

Is design and layout included in the price?

No, design and layout is not included in the price. However, if you need a new layout created or modified we would be happy to assist you.

What file formats do you accept?

We only accept the following formats:

• PDF
• EPS (please ensure all fonts are converted to curves)
• ZIP
• SIT
• JPEG

Please ensure there is .125 bleed on all sides and include crop marks on all sides. We highly recommend you export your file as a single PDF with the front of your card being page 1 and back side page 2.

What are Crop Marks and Bleed?

Crop marks are those little ticks that show us where to cut.

A Bleed is a very important element that must be taken into consideration when creating any printed piece. Bleed refers to any artwork where color is going right to the very edge of the page. You must provide additional color or image outside the cut area (.125″ on all sides is recommended.) When we trim items down they are in stacks of 500 or more. This can cause the paper to shift during cutting so, there must be extra colour or image that can be cut off. This is done to ensure that there’s no white paper showing around the edge of a printed piece.

What is the turnaround time?

The majority of our printing takes approximately 1 – 2 business days once file is approved.

Our Print Schedule:

Deadline for next day turnaround is 1pm. Print requests submitted before 1pm will be completed by 4pm next business day. Print requests submitted after 1pm will be completed by 4pm the following business day. Same day and rush orders are charged a 10% fee on the total cost or a min. of $10.

This timeline is for straight in-house printing only. Finishing options such as die cutting, folding and scoring, binding, etc. may take longer.

Specialty orders such as silk cards, UV coding, PVC plastic cards, etc. usually take approx. 14 business days.
